H.E.R.E. Needs Sponsors for Children's Education

Helping Every Child for the Right Education or simply H.E.R.E. exists for one reason -- that is, to assist the needy children and help them realize their future by giving them the right education.

For four consecutive years, HERE has been assisting chosen students from Caloocan City in making their way through high school via financial assistance and academic support. This program was inspired and initiated by the late Emmanuel "Kuya Manny" Magdaluyo way back in April 2006. So far, HERE has helped seven students graduate from Caloocan High School.

For SY 2009-2010, HERE was able to grant a total of P43,942 to the scholars coming from kind-hearted people from around the world.

Now on its fifth year, HERE will be assisting one senior, one junior, one sophomore and two freshmen from Caloocan High School. These kids may not be the brightest in their league, but their financial situations made them the chosen beneficiaries of HERE’s scholarship program.

Each kid will receive P500 monthly stipend and P1,500 tuition fee and other miscellaneous. There will be regular interactions between HERE members and scholars through tutorials prior to their quarterly examinations and participation in the annual outreach activity and summer outing of HERE.

For those who are interested to join us in this cause or if you know someone who might be interested, you may choose from the following options to help:

1. Monthly pledge of P100 (for 10 months beginning June 2010) (~US$23 / SG$31 / EUR18), or
2. Tuition sponsorship of P1,500 (US$34 / SG$47 / EUR27) before the start of the school year, or
   
3. Any amount you could donate
