First Flight: The Windows Azure and VS2010 Launch

To launch Windows Azure and Visual Studio (VS) 2010 exclusively to professionals, Microsoft Philippines coined First Flight as its event name, with an invitational tag line "Take the First Flight and discover the fastest route to the CLOUD..." It's happening on April 19, 2010 at the Quezon Ballroom of Makati Shangri-la.

According to Wikipedia, Cloud Computing is described as:

Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices on-demand, like a public utility.

The Windows Azure platform soars high as acclaimed speaker, writer, and technology consultant David Chappell pilots the journey to the discovery of Microsoft's latest cloud operating system, helping us better understand and leverage the benefits of the Cloud.

The launch's fleet will also walk through the newest enhancements of Visual Studio 2010, designed to help developers create the next innovative, next-generation applications.
