Organizing Your Closet

Men are so much busy with their everyday schedules, and looking for clothes inside their closets becomes quite a burden. So here are some easy tips on how you can organize your closets, to help you be not always in a rush looking for your favorite clothes - this will turn out to be good for you not be late in your appointments, classes, and meetings.

Three important tips after the jump.

Tip #1: Don't keep what you don't need.
Fewer clothes will make a better-looking, organized closet. To organize your closet, take everything out and dump it on your bed; go through each piece of clothing one item at a time and assess when you wore it last. If you haven’t worn something for a long time and you think you wouldn't sport the attire anymore, set them aside and keep them in a bag, then donate to charities or your younger cousins. Every year, repeat this process to make sure your closet stays organized.

Another suggestion would be -- every time you go shopping and buy something new, get rid of another garment from your closet that looks a little old or is no longer trendy to ensure you maintain approximately the same volume of clothing.

Tip #2: Hang like garments together.
Don't make your life harder by not arranging your garments that fall within the same category (i.e. long sleeves, polo shirts, t-shirts, etc.). This arrangement will help you find the type of garment you want to wear for the day easier. For example, "I want to wear a jacket for today" or "I need to be at my long sleeves for the meeting," so you won't need to worry on getting up early to find the ones you need.

In addition, you can still arrange your closet more by maintaining a coloring system within each category. Hang all the blues together by darkest to lightest or the reds all together from darkest to lightest. It will surely help you speed up your choice of clothes for the day.

Tip #3: Use closet organizers
There are a lot of organizers being sold in departments stores or hardware. Buy those hangers where you can hang more than one apparel using a one piece hanger. Also, do not forget to make use of the bottom part of your closet wisely. Don't ignore the space that it can give you for placing of your garments. It will be very useful if wisely used.

Remember!
Don't forget that rearranging your closet will surely eat up your time, but once you have cleaned and organized your closet properly, you will soon realize how beneficial it will be for you for the next days to come.

1. Who will arrange your clothes according to colour? Every time you pick them up from the laundry, it's a challenge to put them according to colour. Not unless you have an "ATE LUISA" like me... hahah! I no longer have her, though. :(

2. Go to IKEA! or if you want a cheaper version, DAISO!

I know you know me... :)

Happy deepavali! :)

Lucky for me, our house helper arranges my clothes according to color.

Yes, I know you! :)
