Noynoy's FB Fan Page and Avatar Contest

Running for the Philippine President's office for 2010, Noynoy Aquino has finally joined the Facebook bandwagon and now has his own Fan Page.

As we all know, technology nowadays has become so much useful in information gathering and dissemination. In the recent months, Facebook has been on top of mind when it comes to social networking sites for its features and capabilities. With Noynoy's page, supporters may opt to become a fan and be able to get updates and news regarding him and his platforms.

Part of Noynoy's candidacy as a Presidential runner is a contest in creating his own avatar that should depict a kind and friendly aura, but with the face that will have a look about his objection on corruption. Now that the submission period has ended, voting for the 10 best avatars is now open.

To vote, you just need to become a fan of his Facebook Page and follow the 3 simple steps below:

1. Browse through all the avatars consisting of 122 entries in 7 pages.
2. Click on the avatar you wish to vote on.
3. Click on the "Like" link below the avatar to register your vote.

Fans can vote on as many avatars as you wish, but the deadline of "liking" these avatars will be until November 6, 2009 only. Top 10 avatars with the most number of votes ("Like") will be included in the shortlist for the final voting, and will undergo final voting from November 7 to 14, 2009 at the Noynoy's official website. Announcement of the winning entry will be posted on the Official Facebook and Website on November 15, 2009.
