Nokia C3 Offers Great Value for Money

Nokia C3 has been making noise in the realm of mobile phones mainly because it offers great value for money. Launched in July 31 of this year, the phone's introductory price of Php6,295 drew a lot of people in getting a unit for themselves. After the first day's stocks got sold out, the SRP of Php7,295 now fills the market (lower prices are available in some stores).

The Nokia C series was manufactured mainly for the budget-conscious people who also wants good communication features. By communication, Nokia means accessibility to social and networking sites, as well as tools used for interaction with family and friends (i.e. email and chat).

It is available in three colors -- Slate Grey (pictured above), Golden White, and Hot Pink -- and connects to the Internet via WLAN (IEEE 802.11b/g), EGPRS or Bluetooth wireless technology. The handset sports a 2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, but without flash. Aside from that, music is also made alive with the use of its media player and FM stereo radio via the standard 3.5 AV connector. If the 55MB internal memory isn't enough for your downloadable games and songs, extend it by purchasing up to 8GB microSD memory card.

How did I conclude that it's a good buy? Here are my main points for the Nokia C3:
  • It looks posh and fash, a lookalike of Nokia E72. However, please do not mistake it as an update nor a direct competitor of the said model. It's thin and light, just enough grip for any person's hands.
  • !!! Nokia C3 has built-in Twitter, Facebook, Email, and Chat features that will surely get you glued to updating and refreshing your social networking sites. Even if you restore the factory settings of the phone, those features will still be there.
  • The homescreen widgets allow you to directly access your social networking sites with just one click. With that, you can view alerts, post status updates, and upload photos. Who says a Nokia powered by Series 40 is old? Na-ah!
  • This phone supports Ovi Maps and Ovi Chat too, so you can look up your location on the map when you're connected to the Internet.
  • With Nokia's partnership with Smart, Nokia Messaging helps you stay connected to family and friends for a very budget-friendly price. Check it out here.
  • !!! Undeniably, the price for a Nokia phone having QWERTY keypad and tons of wonderful features is a good fact you wanna catch.
After trying the Nokia C3 for nearly 2 weeks, I can say the experience is very much satisfying. No wonder there's a buzz in the mobile phone industry when this model came out. Indeed, this phone is one of the best in the series and a good phone to recommend to friends.
