There will always be a First Time



Throughout the whole year of 2009, I have listed the many firsts that happened in my life. This includes the first time I stepped into a place or any other first times I experienced something. Forgive me if you think some are too shallow to even be included in the list.

January
  • Met a new person by the name of Art Samaniego, who gave me a Wireless Access Point/Router
  • Attended Voice-Acting Workshop c/o CreatiVoices led by Pocholo Gonzales
February
  • Tried our Dubbing in ABS-CBN studio
  • Rode a bus to Baguio alone to meet my friends, only to stay there overnight
  • EMEA Shift (3pm-12am) at work
  • Trip to Shanghai with Tsai
March
  • NA Shift (8pm-5am) at work
  • Created an Internal Documentation for work
  • Danced in public during the site's Coffee Talk
  • Went to Makati Sports Club and hosted the Coffee Talk
  • Did Voice-Over for Amway's event at Intercontinental Hotel
  • Joined a Fun Run called "Pinay in Action" organized by my org in HP

April
  • Drove to office alone passing through EDSA
May
  • Hosted a wedding of Jesse and RJ at Intramuros, where I met Jenny Garcia of Events Unlimited
  • Trip to Cebu for Kumon's event
  • Enjoyed Shangri-la Mactan Resort
  • Tried out a Salon at Cebu, where I had my hair dyed and highlighted at a very inexpensive price compared to Manila's
  • Presented inside HP for my Training Program Review (TPR)
June
  • Work from home for 7 days due to AH1N1 travel precautions
  • Not my first in HK, but first to go there with 13 friends; Saw fireworks at Disneyland
  • I have been to Fontana before, but it's the first time I actually swam there
July
  • Did Voice-Over for Amway's event at SMX
  • No sleep for more than 24 hours straight due to the preparation of an event
  • Watched Spelling Bee at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium
August
  • Had an event at Rockwell Tent for the Candy BFF Camp, where I met Hilary Isaac
  • Ate at YakiMix, Macapagal
  • Did Voice-Over for Amway's Agri video at a studio in Makati Ave.
  • Got the chance to visit SM Southmall for Kumon's event
September
  • Trip to Cagayan De Oro for Kumon's event
  • Tried out white-water rafting at CDO with Pam, Nikki, and Clarence
  • Ate at Circles Cafe, Makati Shangri-la for only Php890
  • Watched Gary V and Martin Nievera's concert at MOA Open Grounds
  • Slept at Marikina Riverbanks Bend Hotel
  • Experienced being trapped in a mall due to the Marikina typhoon incident during Ondoy
October
  • Trip to Lipa, Batangas for Kumon's event
  • Tried out Banay-Banay, Hotel ni Mang Jose, and Cafe de Lipa
  • Had a haircut at Essensuals Toni&Guy, Megamall
November
  • Had the chance to take a bath at the office's shower room due to traffic that didn't allow me to go to the gym anymore
  • Watch Gian Magdangal's first major concert
  • Went to see Dr. Michael Chua at Imperial Dermatology after so long that I haven't gone to a derma
  • Had my very first session of IPL (intensed pulse light) for my face
  • Got through calling Magic 89.9 via phone; was able to talk to Mo, Mojo, and Grace Lee live
December
  • Entered World Trade Center Bazaar
  • Ate at YakiMix, Mall of Asia with Stacey, Boboy, and Jessica
  • Parked and left my car in an open space even with broken lock
  • Had my very first day-off from work on an official holiday
  • Tried our Crest Whitestrips
  • Had my Red box party at TriNoma - my first time to also enter that branch
  • Ate at Bagoong Club, Tomas Morato with Annie and Lizelle
  • Ate at Yellow Cab across RCBC after Spelling Bee
  • Ate at Mexicali for the first time
  • Entered and saw DLSU Graduate School in RCBC
  • Attended my very first Body Pump class in Fitness First
  • Had Dinner at The Piazza with officemates
  • Accidentally broke the paint of another car in Greenhills parking
  • Had a super hard massage at Family Health Spa in Tomas Morato
  • Ate at Omakase, Il Terrazo
  • Worked on Christmas Eve, though online only
  • Went home from Annual Family Reunion even before the clock ticked 12am
Wahooo! Cheers to 2010 as I experience more firsts. Indeed, there will always be a first time.
