  1. Text  Looking into a Brighter Future... 10 months ago

My alma mater De La Salle University always states: “the future begins here.” I’ve been hearing that since the year 2005 when I entered college. What can I say? I do agree. DLSU opened a lot of opportunities for me, indeed.

Now that I’m about to step onto another chapter of my life - working in the real world, I just thank God for opening a door of opportunity for me to try.

I just had my first real-job interview in Taguig this morning. Since it was in the part of Taguig where there were no buses or jeeps (none that I know of), I rode a cab from the MRT-Ayala Station. I arrived quite early - about 20 minutes earlier than my interview time. As I entered the office, I noticed that the office structure was almost the same as in Microsoft - the company I went to for my internship. The cubicles, doors that need access ID’s to open, phones, secretary’s front desk, etc. looked familiar to me. I took a seat and waited for about 20 minutes, then my interviewers came.

I was interviewed by 2 people coming from rival schools whose colors are blue and green. I think it went well, but I don’t want to assume anything yet. I’m just hoping for a positive outcome, though I told myself that it will depend on God’s Will for me.

If I get in, I surely will have a brighter future ahead of me. Aside from the fact that it will be a good addition to my resume, I know that there will be a lot of opportunities waiting for me if I perform well.(“,)

    In God I rest everything.

**I don’t want to mention the company’s name as of now… Until I get their feedback.**
